Trump’s cabinet is shaping up to be a white male circus clown car. But I am really scared of Elon Musk. Here from Axios is a comparison of the two, and how alike they are:

• Both understand the power — and tricks — of social media.
• Both had tough, dominating dads.
• Both are rich and have their tentacles in numerous businesses.
• Both revel in stirring the pot — and spreading fact and fiction at scale.
• Both lack the empathy that holds others back.
• Both believe the country and government need a massive shock to be saved.
• Both view themselves as immune to rules and norms that hold other people back.

Musk, who has not been given any appointment and probably will remain a sort of wacky mascot in the administration, seems like a rich goofball — albeit a dangerous one. Steven Miller really frightens me, and he will be Deputy Chief of Staff. Marco Rubio played his cards right and will be appointed Secretary of State. Mike Huckabee will be Ambassador to Israel. Spineless Nikki Haley was summarily dismissed by Trump.
