Trump, Truth and Puerto Rico
As a Hurricane Florence approached the US, President Trump bragged that his administration did an “A+” job, their work an “unsung success” during Hurricane Maria when it hit Puerto Rico in 2017. In fact, Hurricane Maria devastated the island and around 3,000 lives were lost amidst horrible destruction.
Saying things repeatedly does not make them true.
UPDATE: From the Washington Post, Trump claims the higher number of deaths was created by the Democrats to make him look bad.
