Are we surprised?

On the phone with staffers today, Trump went on a rant, attacking Dr. Fauci, director of the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases, calling him a “disaster,” “idiot,” and railed against any restrictions to combat covid, that people are tired of the virus and want to open up. That’s true, we are tired, but we can’t just do that, science tells us people will die as a result of opening up. The Washington Post reports on this here.

Is this what we are to expect for the next few weeks leading up to the election? Is Trump so worried about not winning, he will attack anyone and everyone.
