Trump Rants Again

When will this be over?

Liz Cheney just announced that her father, former Vice President Dick Cheney, will be voting for Kamala Harris. Wow.

Judge Merchan, the judge who oversaw Trump’s criminal case in NYC has ruled that he will sentence Trump after the election. It could be seen as a win for Trump, but I’m not sure. It’s bad news for Trump’s fundraising hopes, as I am sure the campaign was hoping a sentencing would provide more fodor for Trump to play the victim. Speaking of which, today Trump spent 45 minutes in a Manhattan courtroom hallway ranting to the press about all the women who accused him of sexual abuse or harrassment. He was there for something having to do with the E. Jean Carroll civil case, in which he was found guilty of sexual assault.

But what seems to be making the most news re Trump was from yesterday, when answering a question about child care in this country, Trump went on an incoherent rant. Here it is, in part:

“Well, I would do that, and we’re sitting down, and I was, somebody, we had Sen. Marco Rubio, and my daughter Ivanka was so, uh, impactful on that issue. It’s a very important issue. But I think when you talk about the kind of numbers that I’m talking about, that, because, look, child care is child care is.
