Trump Is Attempting To Steal The Election

He is openly disrupting the USPO, for starters

I could detail numerous ways the current president is trying to sabotage and steal the 2020 election. But this post is about the Post Office. He put a supporter/donor in place as Postmaster General of the USPO. Louis DeJoy, who donated over 2 million dollars to the Trump campaign in 2016, systematically fired or moved many of the top leadership — the press has dubbed it a Friday Night Massacre on August 7th. Mail is not being delivered, and postal boxes are being relocated, or worse.

The NY Times reports:

“The disruptions have stirred concerns that DeJoy may be seeking to undermine confidence in the Postal Service before the Nov. 3 election, when coronavirus concerns may prompt up to half of all U.S. voters to cast their ballots by mail.”

Last night, I heard on CNN that there is a grass roots effort to stop this, and Speaker Pelosi is doing what she can. I have friends who called their representatives. Trump is actively seeding doubt in the USPO, and acting like it’s something normal.

This is serious stuff. We cannot let this continue.
