Is there a glimmer of hope?

Last evening, Trump was indicted by Special Council Jack Smith on charges of trying to overturn the 2020 election.

The United States Vs Trump. Let that sink in.

He is innocent until proven guilty, but the facts in the indictment look very convincing.

I drew this below in in 2020. Trump of course lost that election, and our democracy stayed strong. But we have an election coming up, and Trump can still run, and he can still be elected. We cannot let that happen. I believe there are enough good people in our political system and enough who will vote to get us to the other side of this unsettling time with democracy in tact.

It’s hard to think the unthinkable, but I need to force myself to do so.
