The Supreme Court Is Political

Amy Coney Barrett was led to this moment

I realize that both political parties have made appointments to the Supreme Court that are politically inclined. And also that we never know how they will turn out — liberal or conservative — when they do become justices. But during the hearings for her confirmation to the Supreme Court these past three days, Ms. Coney Barrett refused to answer questions of how she might rule on issues such as the ACA, Climate Change, LBGTQ rights and abortion.

She may not think she’s in anyone’s pocket, but she most likely is.
