The Media Loves Conflict
Pundits and Polls, oh my
It’s the depth of summer, it’s hot.
The GOP has muzzled Trump to make sure he doesn’t mess up this moment in time, one in which the Democrats fuss amongst themselves. The Republican National Convention is next week, and apparently, there is talk of trying to water down the more radical positions the GOP. They are insisting they know nothing about Project 2025, which is a lie. They figure they have the upper hand right now, let the Dems screw around while the GOP looks reasonable. Whatever you do, though, don’t let Trump say anything.
Meanwhile, Biden is trying to speak as much as possible, wherever he can, to relax his party.
The media is annoyingly sticking with the story about Biden’s abilities and the few Democrats who want him to step aside. There’s a lot of talking behind closed doors. Joe’s people are couching it as it is the “elite left” that is asking him to withdraw, slightly mocking the notion that they know better than he does. If the media would just stop it, I think this issue would go away and we can focus on how important it is to defeat Trump. The media loves conflict, but it’s really wearing thin.
