Thank you for your thoughtful response. I keep thinking about what I do in relation to photography, and you have explained it very well. I am also an amateur photographer, so I get both. And sometimes I use photographs as resourse for the drawing, but not often. Thanks for appreciating what I do. I don't seem to fit a category, so people (news outlets) don't know what to do with my work!
