Out of the muck that Trump created

The FBI searched Trump’s home, Mara-Lago, this week. Trump has also chosen to plead the fifth in his NYC deposition inquiry. The Georgia Attorney General is continuing her case against Trump. The GOP continues to claim — some of them and that’s way too many — that the election was stolen. STILL.

It’s astounding how many Trumpers and Trump himself will say things and declare them the truth. The notion that just in saying is makes it true. This is how far we’ve come.

I drew the above after the Mara-Lago raid, a historic moment in our nation’s history. No president’s home has ever been searched by the FBI.

Let’s hope it leads to Trump’s indictment and emprisonment. Or at the very least, a ban from running for office. But sadly, his followers will continue on. I wonder if they will have the same furvor for any other candidate, however.

Time will tell. In the meantime, we have to put measures in place, and we are, to ensure that a January 6th never happens again.
