And Trump is still courting Putin

Vice President Kamala Harris has raised $1 billion since entering the race. It’s more than all monies raised by Trump in 2024. No candidate has ever raised this much money, this fast. I’m holding my breath that this difference in funds makes a difference.

Trump is not doing what what all other candidates in the past have — again, he is not a normal candidate (or person, for that matter) — which is participating in helping to assure a smooth transition of power. Even if he wins. Signing the official papers for transition means revealing your donors, and Trump does not want to do that.

“An effective transition leads to an effective administration.
