Goodbye, Donald Trump

And take your heavy hate with you

Today is the last day of Donald Trump’s Presidency. I hope I never have to draw him again. He and his hate — which includes his racism, misogyny, homophobia and xenophobia — can walk away into the sunset. Never, ever to return.

I know I may sound naive, but it is more true that I am a hopeful person. The hate that he embodies and has encouraged in others will continue, I know, but it is our responsibility to find it and get it gone. Biden and Harris have a difficult task ahead of them.

The new administration will need our help in finding hope and love in everyone and encouraging its spread.

Below are some sketches I did for the above drawing, and the video of me drawing the final sketch.
