It was a difficult few weeks. This past Wednesday, Donald Trump was aquitted in the Senate of the two impeachment articles. But the trial lasted a few weeks, and I drew as much of it as I could. Some of what I heard was very empassioned and beautiful, some agressive and hateful. I drew both Republicans and Democrats. What I capture is at times random; however I tried to capture important moments. I kept my humor in check, which was not difficult because I found this trial incredibly serious. Only once did I make light, when when Justcie Roberts warned both sides not to use a certain word.

I drew 137 images over the course of the Senate Impeachment Trial. I shared them on social media as the trial progressed, and I hoped to shine light on what was going on.

Democracy at work, democracy at stake.
