The American people learned last night that Special Council (To Oversee Russia Probe) Robert Mueller sent a letter to Attorney General William Barr two days after Barr’s “summary” of the Mueller Report was released to the public. In Mueller’s letter, he expresses dissatisfaction with the way Barr characterized his report when Barr “summarized” it to the public. Mueller felt the summary confused the American people, and it misrepresented his report in “content, style and substance.”
What does this mean, really? The full report with reductions has since been released to the public. What we may learn is that Attorney General Barr did not speak truthfully to the public in subsequent statements; in his lack of forthcoming, did not mention the Mueller letter of dissatisfaction. There is appearance of Barr acting as personal counsel to the President, and not in the interest of the American people.
