Liza Donnelly is an award winning cartoonist and writer for The New Yorker, The New York Times, The Washington Post, CNN and more. She is the author of 18 books, her most recent book is Very Funny Ladies: The New Yorker's Women Cartoonists, 1925-2021, published in 2022. She is the innovator of digital live drawing, covering news and cultural events in quick schetches for major news outlets. Liza has taught at Vassar College, has been a cultural envoy for the US State Department and has an honoray PhD from University of Connecticut.
