And some color

As I prepare for Medium Day, I’d like to share a few thoughts here before the big day on Saturday. A little hint as to what I might be sharing with you.

It’s about connection.

That’s pretty simple, but often easy to forget.

We all crave it. Writing and drawing makes it happen.

Here is a drawing I did live on Instagram this morning. I think it is a good example illustrating how something can come from nothing, and how it can be shared with others using old fashioned tools and technology, a few spoken words and lines of a pen and brush and written words. It may not mean a lot, but it is connection.

Thanks so much to the folks at Medium for inviting me to speak at their day long event (I just checked, and I’ve been writing on Medium for ten years!).
